Product Description
WHY HEAT SHRINK CONNECTORS
Heat shrink connectors feature a heat shrink insulation material surrounding the connector/terminal. When heat is applied, the heat shrink insulation tightly seals around the terminal and wire. You simply crimp the terminal/connector onto the wire strands and then heat to ensure a long lasting connection which will keep air and water out. Solderless, crimpless, all you need is just a heat gun to finish the joint, much faster and easier than the old way.
NOTE:
- Only the polyolefin tubing is waterproof after being heated, the metal ring/fork/spade is NOT waterproof.
- The male and female quick disconnect terminals are made with thinner (0.4mm) but harder tinned brass for durable quick disconnect and connect application
